Job Summary
The Service Manager will oversee the related functions and activities of the service department. This role requires lots of client interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service.
 
Responsibilities 
  • May hire and train new staff or assist management with this process.
  • Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of staff in the service department.
  • As required, conducts or assist with performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Assists with employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitors departmental performance, identifying opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Manages daily aspects of the service department and its team to ensure projects are completed and client needs are met.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with the retail department; provides guidance and leadership to enable the team to meet these goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with other managers to plan, direct, and coordinate programs and projects.
  • Drafts, submits and presents various performance and management reports.
  • Manages inventory, approving or facilitating purchases as needed; verifies costs and receipts.
 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of related work experience preferred
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
